Chapel Valley Studios

Paul Roark2Heaven gained another angel and the world lost a man like no other, as Paul Roark, 75, went Home Wednesday, November 4 at 5 p.m.
Paul served the Lord his entire life, singing Gospel music for 42 years. He began his ministry with the Maranatha Singers and later formed The Roarks with his wife of 57 years Jetta and sons Travis and Shane. The ministry Paul lead grew, as the family formed a record company, Chapel Valley in Sharps Chapel, Tenn.

As Jetta says, “God broke the mold when he made Paul.” To honor the man of God Paul was and the legacy he leaves behind, his family invites friends to a Celebration of Life at the Sharps Chapel Community Center on Saturday, November 7 from 2-5 p.m.

The community center is located at 1550 Sharps Chapel Road, Sharps Chapel, TN 37866. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations sent to the Sharps Chapel
Children’s Christmas Fund. Donations can be sent to Sharps Chapel Elementary School at 1550 Sharps Chapel Rd., ATTN. Angela Mills. Make checks payable to Angela Mills.

DSC_0034Down a gravel driveway lined with weeping willows sits a farmhouse nestled tightly between two hills. It is here that Chapel Valley Studio calls home.

Located in Sharps Chapel, TN, the surrounding area alludes to Chapel Valley’s “family atmosphere,” as described by producer and co-owner Shane Roark.

Once inside, it’s clear that comfort is just part of the Chapel Valley experience. The award-winning gospel recording studio is equipped with 96 channels of full automation with a team of musicians and engineers to work with artists.

Chapel Valley specializes in various music genres including Southern Gospel, Inspirational Country, Christian Country, Country Gospel, Bluegrass Gospel, Praise & Worship, and Contemporary Gospel.

Roark says every person that walks through the doors of Chapel Valley can expect “the absolute best” from everyone involved.

“I can’t imagine doing anything else but working in gospel music,” Roark said, “and exploring the possibilities with where that’s going with each individual artist as they grow and explore their ministry and their music.”
